The First Formula Student Russia Fun Event was held in 2008, the 13^th of September on the proving ground of STU MADI. The Fun Event was held with simplified programme of International Competition for studying out the main aspects of the competition. Three Russian teams took part in the Fun Event.

There was first of all the car inspection then Static and Dynamic events:

Teams in the static events needed to submit the Cost and Design Reports for consideration and while having the discussion judges offered them different cases to defend their reports, and at the end of the static event teams made the presentation of their production non-professional racing car and the Team like a “Small Design Company”.

Two dynamic tests were carried out such as acceleration and brake test at this event.

Valuable experience was obtain from this Fun event for participants and organizers .It will help to hold the next events more interesting and longer lasting, to invite and to place more different teams.
